Leaks report of a Snapdragon 670 chipset on the Realme 3 Pro
According to the latest speculations, the Realme 3 Pro can feature Snapdragon 670 which is fabricated on a 10 nm process. Newer Kryo 360 cores are present out of which 6 are clocked at 1.7Ghz and the other two at 2.0Ghz. Also the GPU associated with it is the Adreno 615. On the basis of raw CPU power, the Snapdragon 670 is 15% faster than the Snapdragon 660 and regarding GPU performance, it is 25% more powerful. Also the Snapdragon 670 has 1.8 times more AI functionalities than the Snapdragon 660. So the Realme 3 Pro could handle graphic intensive games and do multitasking comparatively better than the Realme 2 Pro. Another thing to note is, since the Snapdragon 670 is built on a 10nm fabrication, therefore the Realme 3 Pro could have a battery life of more than 1.5 days.
A newer ColorOS version on the Realme 3 Pro
The Realme 3 Pro will feature a 6.3~6.4 inch full HD+ LTPS display which would have a tear drop notch as its predecessor. Leaks say that the tear drop notch would help the device attain a whooping 91% screen to body ratio with an aspect ratio of 19.7:9. The screen would be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The device would support a triple slot sim tray which can afford memory expansion of up-to 512GB via micro-SD card. A very interesting rumour reports that the device could sport a USB Type-C port for fast charging via Oppo’s Vooc charge. this could charge the device from 0-75% in 30 minutes through a 5V-4A supply adapter.
Regarding the UI, Realme officials have tweeted that all Realme devices would get a ColorOS as well as Android Pie update till the mid of 2019. This assures that the Realme 3 Pro would be launched with a newer ColorOS version 6.0 which would be based on Android 9.0.
48 mega-pixels to the rear of the Realme 3 Pro
Recent leaks say that the Realme 3 Pro will carry forward the ongoing trend of increase in camera mega-pixels. Hence it will also sport a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor along with a 5MP depth sensor to the rear. The 48MP camera has a Quad-Bayer array due to which the pictures would be sharp and detailed even under low-light. Also the resolution and the dynamic range of the pictures would be quite high. The pixel size of this sensor would be 1.6 micron and it supports pixel binning and PDAF.
On the front, the tear drop notch could house a 25MP Sony IMX586 sensor as seen on the Realme U1. The aperture size is f/2.0. The selfie shots will also come out to be outstanding o this device.
Launch, Pricing and Availibility of the Realme 3 Pro
Realme 3 Pro will come out in 3 variants. These are the 4GB/64GB variant which could be priced around ₹16,000, the 6GB/64GB variant which could be priced at ₹18,000 and the 8GB/128GB variant at ₹20,000. Also all these variants are speculated to sport UFS 2.1 storage and the battery capacity would be 4,230 mAh. Regarding the pricing, Realme has once again hit the nail on the head and this device could be launched in mid 2019.
