Lawrence Edward Page, aka Larry Page, was born on March 26, 1973. All of his family members were somehow related to computer sciences. His father was a Computer Science professor at Michigan State University, and his mother was a professional in programming. So He also had interest in computer sciences. He gave the idea of developing a search engine that was very different from the conventional search engines. Today, Page is a Billionaire just because of his revolutionary idea. According to Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the net worth of Larry Page is around $108.7 billion. He is the 6th Richest Person in the world (April 2021). He met his partner Sergey Brin at Stanford University, California, when he was there as a PhD. student. Larry Page is the co-founder of Google. In 2004, Larry Page & Sergey Brin received the Marconi Prize.

Sergey Brin and Larry Page worked hard to make the Tech giant Google. Sergey Brin was born on 21 August 1973 in Moscow, Russia. In 1979, his family moved from Moscow to the U.S. He received his degree in mathematics and computer science at the University of Maryland in 1993. Then he entered Stanford University for his graduate program. That is the place where he met Larry Page. They both started developing new search technology that would have ranking abilities that can track backlinks of each website. Sergey Brin left Stanford soon to carry on working on the search engine. He is the co-founder of Google. Sergey Brin was the world’s 13th richest man in 2018 (Source: Forbes). According to Forbes, Brin was also the world’s 35th most powerful man in the world.

Before google was incorporated in 1998, he gave up the project . Hassan Persued His Career In Robotics, and he appeared as the founding father of Willow garage in 2006.
Section 1.05 History Of Google: Beginning
The Story Starts From 1995, Lawrence Edward Page(aka Larry Page) got admission to Stanford University, and he was thinking about whether he should join the university or not. He went to the university as a visitor. And Sergey Brin, who was a student at the university, was there to guide him. This is how the two legends met. After some years, they appeared as Founders of Google,
(a) Page Rank:
Larry Page, co-founder of Google, gave an idea to develop a search engine that may check backlinks to estimate the importance of the website. They called this algorithm “PageRank.” In 1996, Larry Page and Sergey Brin started a research project. Both of them started working from Larry’s dorm room. The Search Engines of that time used to rank results according to the number of times the search terms appeared on the screens. The project also involved Scott Hassan. Page told his ideas to Hassan. And he began to write code on the basis of the revolutionary idea of the Page.
The name of the Search Engine as per the decision of founders was BackRub. As it used to check backlinks to calculate the importance of a website.

In 1998, Larry Page and Sergey Brin wrote a research paper whose title was “The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine.” In the Research Paper, they wrote against the search engines which show too many ads. This shows that the Founders of Google were against turning a search engine into an ad seller machine.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin changed the name of Search Engine from BackRub to Google. The word “Google” has been derived from the number “googol,” whose value is 1×10^100. There are 100 zeros in googol which reflect how informative the new search engine was.

In August 1998, Andy Bechtolsheim, the co-founder of Sun Microsystems, invested $100,000 in Google by writing a check. The company wasn’t even incorporated at that time. But still he made such a big investment. The incorporation of Google took place on 4th September 1998 in a garage in Menlo Park, California. The owner of the garage was Susan Wojcicki, currently the CEO of YouTube.
- In Delaware(a state in the U.S) on 22nd October,2002 , Google was reincorporated.
- In July 2003, Google was reincorporated in Mountain View, California (aka Googleplex), which is the Current Headquarters of Google. Although Google has its Headquarters in Mountain View, California, but its official address is still in Wilmington, Delaware.
